Everyone is born black, a malicious being, and so is the protagonist. At the beginning of the story, the wounded protagonist tripped and accidentally fell into the white tree men area. Then he met the white benefactor. This encounter brought about a great change in the protagonist's heart, and he began to aspire to become a kind and warm white tree man. To reach his goal, the protagonist kept doing good things until he became all white. However, because of a "small accident", the ending of the protagonist and other black tree men has changed.
